Bella Shmurda, a remarkable singer-songwriter from Nigeria who signed with Dangbana Republik, has released a new version of his smash hit “Philo (Remix).”
Bella Shmurda, also known by his stage name Fine Boy Bella, recruited South African rap heavyweight and possibly the greatest rapper in Africa, Nasty C, for this remix version.
The original version of this jam was sung by Omah Lay, an outstanding top-tier artiste & songwriter from Nigeria.
Abiola Ahmed Akinbiyi, better known as Bella Shmurda, is a Nigerian hip-hop superstar who rose to prominence in 2020 with the release of the smash hit “Vision 2020” and its remix, “Vision 2020 (Remix),” which featured Olamide, CEO of YBNL Nation and a prominent figure in the Nigerian hip-hop and rap scenes.
When Bella Shmurda was 16, his mom urged him to start recording his music at home. He transformed the music business in 2019 with his first track, “Vision 2020,” which inspired by his experiences working to support his family while he attended LA State University.
