Kayset – “Dorime”

Kayset is back with “Dorime,” the follow-up to his previous track “Nwanne.”
Dorime is a prominent and catchy word in Nigerian pop culture that is sure to be a hit, especially among nightlifers.

Emmanuel Patrick (born April 4, 1997) is a Nigerian singer and songwriter who performs by the stage name KAYSET. Kayset debuted in the Nigerian music industry with the release of “JEJE” in 2019, backed by “NWANNE” with Yovi in 2021. He graduated from the University of Calabar with a bachelor’s degree in Botany.

Over the years, Kayset has experimented with a variety of sounds and genres, including AfroBeats, Pop, Reggae / Dancehall, R&B, and Hip Pop. He is a significant source of motivation.

According to him, he gets his inspiration mainly from his surroundings and his woman. Being an unsigned and independent artist in the Nigerian music industry is no easy task, which is why Kayset has indicated that he is willing and open to collaborate with record labels who share his vision.

At various times, he has played at various events across Nigeria and the United Arab Emirates, sharing the stage with some of Africa’s top performers, including Olamide, Burna Boy, D’Banj, Zlatan, Naira Marley, and others.
