Odunsi has finally released his long-awaited debut album, Rare, after much teasing. The CD has 13 tracks, including a bonus track of the legendary “Alté Cruise.”

Because of his outstanding blend of afrobeat, funk, 80s R&B, and synth-pop elements, Odunsi creates music that is impossible to dislike. If anything, Odunsi’s status as an old spirit trapped in a millennial’s body is cemented by this album. Ralph Tresvant, Sade, Asa, Prince Okotie, and Prince have all had a significant influence on him.
